Three-way Tie for NGSA 2022 top Spot

Ms KAYLEEN STEPHENS REGION SSESEVSEVESEVESEVEN NGSA 2022 TOP PERFORMER

Three Children, from Three different Education Districts, have tied for the top Spot at this Year’s 2022 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA).

They are: Neuel Bancroft from the Annandale Primary School in Region Four, Angelica Subryan from the Cumberland Primary School in Region Six and Jonathon Gomes from the Jos- El Educational Institute from District 11 (Georgetown).

They each got 518 Marks.

This was announced by the Minister of Education Ms. Priya Manickchand this Morning Friday, September 9th,2022, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre at Liliendaal, Georgetown.

D’vaughn Adams from the Port Kaituma Primary School topped Region One, and got a Place at the St. Stanislaus College in Georgetown.

The Region Two top Performer is: Ziyaad Ally from the Aurora Primary School who got 516 Marks, and a Place at Queen’s College.

The Region Three top Performer is: Tanika Sukhdeo from the Academy of Excellence who got 516 Marks, and a Place at Queen’s College.

The Region Four top Performer is: Neuel Bancroft from the Annandale Primary who scored 518 Marks and earned a Place at Queen’s College.

The Region Five top Performer is: Nathan Jameer from the Bath Primary School who got 512 Marks and a Place at Queen’s College.

The Region Six top Performer is: Angelica Subryan from the Cumberland Primary School who got 518 Marks and a place at Queen’s College.

The Region Seven top Performer is: Kayleen Stephens from the St. John the Baptist Primary School who scored a Place at the St. Stanislaus College in Georgetown.

Christian Clint Khan a Student of the Potaro Primary School also secured a Place at the St Stanislaus College ,

he too also performed well for Region Seven at this Year’s 2022 National Grade Six Assessment.

The Region Eight top Performer is: Hezekiah Vanier from the Paramakatoi Primary School who copped a Place at the New Amsterdam Secondary school.

The Region Nine top Performer is: Ethan D’Aguiar , who copped a Place at Queen’s College.

The Region 10 top Performer is: Kezia Jerry from the One Mile Primary School who got 514 Marks and a Place at Queen’s College.

And the top Performer for District 11 (Georgetown) is : Jonathon Gomes from the Jos- El Educational Institute who got 518 Marks and a Place at Queen’s College.

A Total of 16,223 Candidates registered for the Assessment this Year 2022. Improvements were recorded in Science and Social Studies, while marginal declines were recorded in Mathematics and English.
