Minister of Education Ms. Priya Manickchand on Friday Morning, September 9th,2022 hosted an Announcement Ceremony of the Results for the National Grade Six Assessment NGSA. 2022, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre Venue, Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown,Region Four.

The Results for Region Seven’s top Ten Positions Honours in this Year 2022 NGSA., were notably shared by the Students of the St. John the Baptist Primary School and the Potaro Primary School, with the Two Miles Primary School and the High Achievers Institute, completing the Regional NGSA.2022, top Ten Positions Listing for Region Seven ,which are indicated as follows:-

Region Seven NGSA 2022 TOP TEN

St. John the Baptist Primary School Student Ms. Kayleigh Stephens, led the Results Listing for Region Seven’s NGSA 2022 top Ten Positions with 503 Marks , with Master Christian Khan of the Potaro Primary School in the Second Position with 502 Marks, both of them will now be attending the St Stanislaus College.

The other Students on this top Ten Regional NGSA 2022 Listing for Region Seven, will now all be attending the Three Miles Secondary School.

Ms Nolisa Lewis of the St John the Baptist Primary School followed on the Regional Listing for Region Seven in the Number Three Position with 491 Marks,in the Number Four Position was Ms Shania Fernandes of the Potaro Primary School with 490 Marks.

In Position Number Five was Master Dastan De Frietas of the Potaro Primary School with 489 Marks.In Position Number Six was Master Jadison Barbosa of the Two Miles Primary School with 489 Marks.In the Number Seven Position was Ms. Anjalie Singh of the St John the Baptist Primary School with 478 Marks. In the Number Eight Position was Master Romario Singh of the Potaro Primary School with 476 Marks.In Position Number Nine was Master Adam Smith of the St John the Baptist Primary School with 476 Marks and completing the top Ten Listing in Position Number Ten was Ms. Kristel Fagundes of the High Achievers Institute with 474 Marks.

A Total of 16,223 Candidates registered for the Assessment this Year 2022. Improvements were recorded in the Subject Areas of Science and Social Studies, while marginal declines were recorded in the Subject Areas of Mathematics and English.
