POLICE ISSUE WANTED BULLETIN FOR BUSINESSMAN DORWAIN BESS

The Guyana Police Force on Monday,September 26th,2022 issued a Wanted Bulletin for Businessman Dorwain Bess, who is now wanted for questioning in relation to the publication of defamatory and libelous Information in an effort to extort.

Police said Bess is 45-Years-old, and his last know Address is 162 Rupa Place, Bel Air Park, Georgetown.

Bess was implicated by Two Reporters – Gary Eleazar and Alex Wayne – who are currently in custody, and is expected to be charged for extorting $1 Million from another Businessman.

The Men were interviewed by Detectives, and detailed the Plan to extort a Businessman, an official Statement by the Police noted.

The Arrests were made during a “Sting” Operation on Friday last, and followed a Report made to the Police by the Businessman who has since remained unnamed.

The Arrest was first announced on Saturday last ,on Sunday,September 25th,2022 the Police confirmed the Arrest, and said Eleazar told Investigators that he was contacted by Dorwain Bess, who informed him that the Businessman was evading Taxes.

As a consequence, an Article was written and reportedly sent to an Overseas-based Guyanese, who Eleazar said posted it to a Facebook Page and Website.

Additionally, Eleazar told the Detectives that he also sent Five Articles targeting other Persons, and at least One Government Agency to the Overseas-based Guyanese.
