REGIONAL POLICE HONOURS STUDENTS OF ITABALLI PURPLE HEART POLICE YOUTH GROUP
On Friday Afternoon, September 23rd, 2022, Regional Police Division Number Seven hosted a Prize-giving Ceremony at the Itaballi Community Center Venue for Students, who are also Members of the Itaballi’s Purple Heart Police Youth Group, these Students recently wrote the 2022 National Grade Six Assessment.
Present at this Ceremony were Regional Commander of Regional Police Division #7 Mr. Dion Moore; ASP. Chaitram; Insp. Bacchus; ASP Griffith; Sgt. Mentis;Sgt. Harvey; Cpl. Welcome; and other special Invitees.
The Secretary of the Youth Group Ms. Indira Thomas formally welcomed all to the Ceremony, where Members of the Youth Group sang Songs for those in attendance as part of the Ceremony’s Agenda, after which the top Five (5) Students of the Youth Group were awarded a Tablet, a Backpack filled with Stationery, and a Trophy for their outstanding performances at the 2022 National Grade Six Assessment. Each Member of the Youth Group also received Backpacks filled with Stationery.
The Regional Commander in summary Remarks at this Ceremony, congratulated all the Students that wrote the 2022 National Grade Six Assessment, and encouraged the Students: “It is not the end of your Journey, it’s only the beginning and you should always aim high and take advantage of every learning opportunity”. He also highlighted about the importance of Education and further encouraged the Students to stay focused in School.
