REGION SEVEN RDC DELIBERATES ON 2023 BUDGET SUBMISSIONS

The Regional Democratic Council of Region Seven recently hosted an Extraordinary General Meeting to examine and deliberate on Submissions for it’s 2023 Budget.

Notable Submissions from the various Sub Heads were:-

1)Construction of Concrete Roads with slipper Drains through a Section on the Bartica Potaro Road.[3 to 4 Miles]
2)Construction and Rehabilitation of Roads at Byderabo,Mora Point and Communities in the Upper Mazaruni Area..
3)Construction of Culverts and Drains in critical and Flood prone Areas throughout the Municipality of Bartica.
4) A Three Story multi Purpose Health Facility Building at Second Street and Second Avenue,Bartica Town.
5)Extention and Rehabilitation of Health Posts throughout the Region
6)Two Digital X-Ray Machines..
7)Construction of Primary Schools at Wax Creek and Wayalayeng.
8)Construction of new “Wings” or Extentions at the DC Fox Secondary School,the StJohn the Baptiste Primary School and the creation of Smart Classrooms in Schools.
