TRIO CHARGED WITH RAPE COMMITTED ON VENEZUELAN AT SECOND AVENUE, BARTICA TOWN

Three Men charged with the Crime of Rape committed on a 32-Years-old Venezuelan Woman appeared at the Bartica Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday, October 3rd,2022.

Ryan Hendro, a 24-Years-old Gold Miner of Sheet Anchor, Berbice; Aubrey Garraway, a 22-Years-old Gold Miner of Second Avenue, Bartica Town, and 29-Years-old Kevin Pollard called “Chiney”, a Boat Captain of Itaballi Landing Mazaruni River, all appeared before the Presiding Magistrate Madame Crystal Lambert.

The alleged Incident occurred on September 26th, 2022 at Second Avenue, Bartica Town, Region Seven .

The Trio was charged separately for the Crime. They were each not required to plea to the Indictable Charge.

Hendro and Pollard were placed on $300,000 Bail each while Garraway was remanded to Prison.

The Matter was adjourned until October 21st, 2022.
