IDB TEAM PAID COURTESY CALL ON GUYANA’S PSC

A Team from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on Tuesday,October 18th,2022 paid a Courtesy Call on Chairman of the Private Sector Commission (PSC), Mr. Paul Cheong and Team.

The IDB Team was comprised of Ms. Lorena Solorzano Salazar – Country Representative (ag); Mr. David Rosenblatt – Regional Economic Advisor; Mr. Victor Gauto – Economist and Mr. Mark Peters – Investment Officer. They were seeking to get an understanding of Matters on the forefront , of Guyana’s Private Sector.

The Discussion was centered on Areas for improvement, in the Sectors of Agriculture, Trade, Education, Tourism, Aviation, and Energy.

During the Engagement, the PSC. Chairman was joined by Mr. Ryan Alexander – Vice Chairman; Mr. Ian Chung – Executive Director, and Mr. Nayteram – an Economist.
