BARTICANS THRILLED WITH TRIVENI MANDIR GLAMOROUS 2022 DIWALI MOTORCADE AND ENTERTAINING CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA.
On Sunday, October 23rd,2022 numerous elated Barticans lined the Route of the Triveni Mandir’s 2022 Diwali Motorcade around Central Bartica Town,Region Seven, with noted eagerness to simply view the Glitz of colourful Lights that complemented the glamorous cultural depiction, portraying the significance of Diwali, the Festival of Lights 2022.
This Motorcade culiminated at the Triveni Mandir’s Venue, at Third Avenue, and Fifth Street, Bartica Town,Region Seven , where a spectacular Cultural Extravaganza unfolded there.
Master of Ceremony Mr Andy Hemraj excellently presented that Program, which included a presentation of the Dieties that are associated with Diwali, along with cultural Items in Songs,Poems, and Dances , that all depicted further, the significance of the Occassion, that delightfully satisfied and enlightened the wide cross Section of craving, Culture loving Barticans, in the Audience.
This Cultural Extravaganza Program’s Content, also had Tributes being paid to this Spectaclar Occassion of the Festival of Lights, Diwali 2022, in Bartica Town,Region Seven by local Dignitaries who were in attendance.
Master of Ceremony Mr Andy Hemraj
initially presented, that Diwali the Festval of Lights, is also a Festival of Prosperity , Love and Unity as Bartica Town continually demonstrates. He said that the Triveni Mandir was very appreciative of the presence of everyone, which also demonstrates their love for Culture.
Opening Remarks were then presented by President of the Triveni Mandir’s Council Mr Satesh Jagroo, also fondly known as ” Nandoo” who said, “appreciation is indeed a wonderful thing, as we promote our Culture under our Country’s Motto of One People, One Nation, One Destiny, as we all are part of this Festival.” Mr. Jagroo then indicated that the Youths of the Mandir will present Cultural Items in promoting same,as they also too will be uplifting their Dharma, and Lives towards having meaningful purposes in Society.
Regional Vice Chair, Ms. Nageshwarie Lochan Persaud, fondly known too as Ms. Kamal , then in her recognition presentation of the Occassion, further highlighted about it’s significance, in the triumph of Good over Evil, Light over Darkness, as she conveyed Greetings to all, on behalf of the Regional Democratic Council of Region Seven, she also congratulated the Organizing Committee for their spectacular presentation, to the Municipality of Bartica.
Mayor of Bartica Town, Mr Gifford Marshall then also congratulated the Organizers of this Year’s Motorcade,as he rated it as among the best that the Municipality had seen. He then urged for the use of the Occassion’s significance in the triumph of Good over Evil, as a fitting time also, to reflect on our Lives, and Relations towards Unity, which is a key Word that is professed in all Religions. He also encouraged everyone to use the Season towards uniting further as a people, growing from strenght to strength, as our Country’s Motto professes : “One People, One Nation, One Destiny”. The Mayor then on behalf of the Bartica Town Council conveyed best Wishes on the Occassion of Diwali 2022 to everyone.
Cultural Promoter Ms. Chandra Dasraj also too congratulated the Organizers of the Presentation describing it as a magnificent Occassion of Glitz and Glamour, that continues to transend all Ethnic, Cultural and Religious Barriers of Society, for all to celebrate in Unity as is evident in the participation of the wide cross Section of numerous Barticans that were along the Route of this Year’s 2022 Diwali Motorcade, and too in attendance at the Cultural Extravaganza, which She also stated, is unique in that it continues to add, to the Significance of the Occassion.
Mr Sukdeo Singh, a distingushed Hindhu Devotee in the Municipality of Bartica, and the Public Relations Officer of the Triveni Mandir’s Council, then conveyed on behalf of the Mandir a Shubh Diwali,Happy Diwali 2022 to everyone, where the Triveni Mandir sincerely implores , ” may the Light that is kindled during the Occassion of Diwali enter into our Hearts, and form a Beacon so that it will not only guide us, but also help us to guide others, so that they may go towards that Light also, for it is Shridi Baba who said these Words, ” when you walk towards the Light, your Shadow goes behind, on the other Hand, if you walk away from the Light, then you follow your Shadow, meaning, that if you do pursue Knowledge and Wisdom, then ignorance will go behind, and that, will be left behind, but , if you choose to live in ignorance, then you surely will not be able to get that Light from that Beacon”.
Mr.Sukdeo Singh also said that the Message of Diwali also further urges, that we must always keep that Beacon of Light in our Hearts, so that we can live our Lives in a Positive way, so that others can follow us, to emulate that way of Life, for Diwali is about Good over evil, Light over darkness. He also said in every feature of Diwali there is an important Life – Lesson to be learned, especially One , in that we are not going to go before GOD with Divisions, therefore we must also use this period of time also to bury the Hatchet before we can do so. In summary Mr Singh stated that God wants every One to reunite with Him, regardless of Religious persuasions, and that also is the significance of Diwali.
These Annual commemorative Activities resumed this Year 2022, in the Municipality of Bartica,Region Seven after a Two Years Hiatus due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
