SUSPECT IN THE FATAL CHOPPING INCIDENT AT SANDHILL BACKDAM ARRESTED
The Police in a Statement said that the 27-Years-old Venezuelan National a Suspect in the Murder of Ravindra Alfred was arrested in Bartica Town, Region Seven, on Tuesday,November 15th, 2022 after the Crime was committed.
The Venezuelan National is accused of fatally stabbing Alfred multiple times sometime between 09:00Hrs., on Sunday,November 13th,2022 and 09:00hrs on Monday, November 14th,2022 at the Sand Hill Backdam,Cuyuni Mining District Number Four, Region Seven. Alfred was reportedly involved in an intimate relationship with the Suspect’s Fiancée.
An Autopsy conducted by Government Pathologist Doctor Nehaul Singh revealed that Alfred died as a result of multiple Chop Wounds.
Police had reported that Alfred and the Suspect worked together at the Sand Hill Backdam.
