GOLD MINER FATALLY CHOPPED IN ARANKA BACKDAM CUYUNI
32-Years-old Raphael Cadogan a Gold Miner was fatally chopped early Tuesday Morning on December 6th,2022 by another Gold Miner, so far only known as ” Tallman”, in the Aranka Backdam, Cuyuni Gold Mining District Number Four , Region Seven.
It has been reported that the now deceased Gold Miner’s younger Brother Clive Cadagon, and “Tallman” were involved in an argument on Sulphur Road, in the Aranka Backdam, that subsequently got physical, and resulted in the now deceased Gold Miner also intervening, on Monday Night, December 5th,2022.
The now deceased Gold Miner, and his younger Brother Clive Cadagon subsequently left the Scene on Sulphur Road, and returned to their Camp where they rested for the Night.
Early Tuesday Morning a still enraged ” Tallman” went to the said Camp of the now deceased Gold Miner, and chopped him multiple times about his Body, as he lay in his sleeping area, his younger Brother Clive Cadagon who was nearby, tried to intervene and ” Tallman ” turned his attention to him, and also inflicted Chop Wounds onto his upper Body.
Both the deceased Gold Miner 32-Years-old Raphael Cadogan, and the injured Clive Cadogan, were subsequently transported out from the Aranka Area Cuyuni, by Boat, to the Bartica Town’s Regional Public Hospital, where a Doctor on duty at around 19:00 Hrs., pronounced that 32-Years-old Raphael Cadogan
was dead on arrival, and Clive Cadogan was medically attended to.
The Corpse of 32-Years-old Raphael Cadogan was then under Police escort, transported to a Funeral Home in Georgetown.
“Tall Man” the alleged Perpetrator of this Crime, is currently assisting the Police of Regional Police Division Number Seven, with their Investigations further into the circumstances surrounding this criminal Occurrence.
