FOUR ARRESTED AS INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE MURDER OF LAND SURVEYOR RICKY AMBROSE CONTINUES
The Police from Regional Police Division Number Seven have arrested Four Persons on Thursday,December 22nd,2022 in connection with their Investigations into the Murder of 40 Years old Land Surveyor and Ranger, Ricky Ambrose of Lot 3093 Profit’s Square, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
Investigations have revealed that Ambrose was a licensed Firearm Holder of a .32 Pistol, and he was employed as a Ranger in the Cuyuni Mining District of Region Seven. Based on Information received, at about 05:00 Hrs., on Sunday, December 18th,2022, Ambrose left the Arimu Landing en route to the ‘Guana’ Sand Landing, with his ATV, bearing License Registration Number Plate #CK 3965.
However, at about 11:00 Hrs on Sunday, December 18th, 2022, a 24-Years-old Miner who was heading from his “Work Ground” to his “Camp-Ground”, observed a Body lying motionless on the Ground with multiple Injuries, whiles he was walking along a Trail in the Arimu Backdam. The Body was about 20 Feet from the ATV. An Alarm was raised, and a Report was also subsequently made to the Bartica Town’s Police Station, the Police expeditiously responded to the Scene of the Crime.
A Team of Policemen also on Thursday last, December 22nd, 2022 again travelled into the Arimu Backdam, on Two ATVs., where they once more encountered Mechanical Problems with One of the ATVs. Yet again, they themselves had to improvise, and effect a temporary rectification of the ATV’s Mechanical Problem on the Arimu Trail, to then also labourously, traverse with the Two ATVs., back and forth, on Four Tree Trunks with narrow widths, a 30 Feet wide Creek, so as to satisfactorily complete their Assignment on Thursday last, in the Arimu Backdam, where Two Male Guyanese ,One Male Venezuelan National, and a Female Venezuelan National, were arrested, and are currently assisting the Police in connection with their Investigations into the Murder of Ricky Ambrose.
A Search is also currently on going by another Team of Police in the Arimu Backdam, for another Male Guyanese, that is of special interest with their Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the Murder of Ricky Ambrose, in the Arimu Backdam.
The Surface of Trail from the Itaballi Landing to the Arimu Backdam is now in a reasonable State, where travelling time currently would involve almost Three Hours. The Itaballi Landing is connected through a Pontoon Crossing, across the Mazaruni River, from the Teperu Landing, which is located about Ten Miles from Central Bartica Town, Region Seven.
A Post-Mortem Examination has revealed that deceased Ricky Ambrose died from multiple injuries.
