CENTRAL BARTICA TOWN CPG ALSO WELCOMES THE BUDGETARY ALLOCATION FOR COMMUNITY POLICING
The Central Bartica Town’s Community Policing Group, CPG., operating in the F 1 Division of Region Seven also expresses appreciation for the Budgetary Allocation for Community Policing in the 2023 National Budget.
The Budget, totalling a Record $781.9 Billion, was presented by Finance Minister Dr. Ashni Singh on Monday,January 16th,2023 with Community Policing Group’s receiving it’s Allocation of $111., Million.The Executive Leaders of the Central Bartica Town’s CPG welcome this allocation of Funds towards Community Policing Groups in the 2023 National Budget.

The Central Bartica Town’s CPG is confidently optimistic that Community Policing will expand to new Areas this Year, especially in the Group’s Precinct with the continuous support of the National Community Policing Secretariat, through the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Group on the Occassion also commends the Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Robeson Benn for his astute leadership and frequent engagements with the National Community Policing Executives in assessing Community Policing Needs, towards creating Pathways to improve the performance of Community Policing throughout Guyana.
