UPGRADED COMMUNITY POLICING DIRECTIVES FORMALLY DELEGATED TO THE COMMUNITY POLICING GROUPS OF F1 COMMUNITY POLICING DIVISION
The initial Executive Meeting for the Year 2023 of the Central Bartica Town’s CPG was hosted on Wednesday, February 1st,2023 at the Resource Center Building Venue from 13: 15Hrs., to 14:28Hrs., primarily aimed at being the Forum to expeditiously delegate the upgraded Community Policing Directives to the Community Policing Groups of the F1 Community Policing Division.

These Community Policing Directives derived from the recent Meeting hosted on Thursday Morning, January 26th, 2023, at the Police Officers’ Mess Hall, Eve Leary, Georgetown, by the Commissioner of Police (ag) Mr Clifton Hicken and the Guyana Police Force’s Administration, where they met with the Representatives of Community Policing Groups (CPGs) from across the Ten (10) Administrative Regions of Guyana, and the National Community Policing Executives Council.

1) A Community Policing Desk has already been established at the Sub-Divisional Headquarters, Bartica Town’s Police Station.

2) The Station Sergeant has already scheduled Weekly Meetings and Training Sessions with the CPG Ranks for Tuesdays to Saturdays from 07:30Hrs., to 09:00Hrs. The initial Training Subject Areas are Statements and Diary Writing.

3) The Fortnightly Meetings of the Sub-Divisional Officers with the Station Sergeants and CPG Ranks, will be coordinated with the Divisional Laison Officer and CPGs Chairpersons

4) The Deputy Commander and Regional Community Policing Coordinator will soon be visiting each Community Policing Group within the Division, and will also through the Divisional Laison Officer and CPGs Chairpersons coordinate this Month’s Meeting, with all Groups in the Division, prior to this Month’s Meeting with the Commissioner
5) The Karrau Group has been resuscitated last Tuesday January 31st,2023 and the Office Bearers of the new Executive Council are as follows:-

Mora Point, Five Miles and Byderabo are already earmarked as Areas for the establishment of Community Policing Groups, also with the resuscitation of the Four Miles CPG.

The Executive Council for the F1 Community Policing Division will be Meeting for it’s February 2023 Statutory Meeting on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at the Resource Center Building Venue, Mon Gripper Playing Field from 09:00Hrs.
