BARTICA FORESTRY STATION DEDICATES NAMING ITS OFFICE BUILDING THE GODFREY MARSHALL BUILDING

Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources Mr. Vickram Bharrat on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 hosted a simple Ceremony, to formally dedicate naming the Building that houses the Bartica Town’s Forestry Station, on Seventh Avenue, to now be named the Godfrey Marshall Building.

This act of dedication is as a result of the 50 Years of Service given by Mr Godfrey Marshall to the Commission. Mr Marshall a Bartican by birth, joined the Guyana Forestry Commission in the Year of 1972, and retired in 2022.
