MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES ATTENDS FORMAL REOPENING CEREMONY OF NEW GGB OFFICE IN BARTICA TOWN

Hon. Vickram Bharrat, M.P., Minister of Natural Resources, last Saturday,February 4th,2023 attended the opening Ceremony of the new Office for the Guyana Gold Board located in Bartica Town, Region Seven.

During his Remarks, the Honourable Minister expressed the importance of Gold production, and declaration to the Economy. The Bartica Town Gold Board’s new Office will provide a more convenient, and comfortable Atmosphere for Stakeholders to conduct Business.

Also present were Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Mr. Joslyn McKenzie, Staff of the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission, Guyana Forestry Commission, Guyana Gold Board and the Ministry’s Core of Wardens. The Regional Chairman, Mr. Kenneth Williams, and Bartica Town’s Mayor, Mr. Gifford Marshall also shared brief Remarks.
