BARTICA TOWN ACCIDENT VICTIM SUCCUMBS ONE MONTH AFTER ACCIDENT

Wesley Hopkinson, a Grade Three Pupil of the Two Miles Primary School, who just over a Month ago was involved in an Accident along the Potaro Road, Bartica Town,has died, at about 10:00 Hrs., on Saturday.

On January 05th, 2023 Wesley was struck down by a Motor Vehicle whiles crossing the Potaro Road, just moments after he had exited his School Bus. The Driver of the said Motor Vehicle that was involved in the said Accident was arrested, and subsequently released on Station Bail.

The current consequential circumstances surrounding the demise of the Child will definitely determine on the possibility of the Driver of the said Motor Vehicle that was involved in the said Accident, facing relative Criminal Charges.It has also been further reported that a File into the Investigation was submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions for Legal Advice, but will now most likely too have to be adjusted, dependent also on the Results of an Autopsy Examination.

Wesley had suffered severe Head Injuries, and had to be airlifted to the Georgetown Public Hospital a few Hours after the Accident.
