TOROPARO GOLD MINER REMANDED ON GUN AND AMMUNITION POSSESSION CHARGES

Ramuel Shemar Garraway, a 20-Years-old Gold Miner of Grant Unity, Essequibo River, appeared at the Bartica Town Magistrate’s Court Wednesday Morning, March 22nd,2023 before presiding Magistrate Madame Crystal Lambert, where he was charged with ‘Possession of Firearm without License’.

He pleaded “not guilty”, and was remanded to Prison.

Ramuel Shemar Garraway also answered to the Charge of ‘Possession of Ammunition without License’. He also pleaded ‘not guilty’, and was remanded to Prison. Both Matters were postponed to 18th April 2023.

Garraway was arrested with the Firearm and Ammunition on Monday, March 20th, 2023 at the Toroparo Backdam, Puruni River.
