BARTICA MAN ARRESTED WITH SUSPECTED MARIJUANA AND METHAMPHETAMINE

Police Ranks in the Regional Police Division Number Seven , on Friday, March 31st,2023 between the Period of 20:00 Hrs., to 21:30 Hrs., conducted random Searches around the Municipality of Bartica, whereby Several Persons were stopped and searched.

One of the Persons searched was Linden Benjamin, a 35-Years-old Man of Second Avenue, Bartica Town , who had a Black Haversack on his Shoulder, both Benjamin and the Haversack were searched, and the Police found 16 transparent Zip-lock Packs of Leaves, Seeds and Stems suspected to be Cannabis and 25 transparent Zip-lock Packs of what is suspected to be Methamphetamine.

Benjamin was arrested, and then escorted to the Bartica Town’s Police Station along with the suspected Narcotics. When weighed, the suspected Cannabis amounted to 26 Grams, while the suspected Methamphetamine amounted to Eight (8) Grams.

Linden Benjamin was told of the Offence, cautioned and admitted. He is presently in custody pending Charges.
