GPF —||| Police in Regional Division #7 conducted an operation on Tuesday,April 1st,2025, at the residence of Blossom Holder, and Deon Roberts, located at One Mile Potaro Road, in the Township of Bartica, Region Seven.
Upon arrival at the Location, the Ranks met with both Residents, and informed them of their intent to conduct a search of the Premises for illegal Items which include Drugs, Guns, and Ammunition. Holder, and Roberts granted consent to the Police Team to search their House, which measured approximately 10 Feet in Width, by 15 Feet in Length.
As the Ranks entered the House, Deon Roberts grabbed a small White Bucket and jumped through the Back Window of his Bedroom. Police Ranks immediately pursued, and successfully apprehended the Suspect. Inside the White Bucket was a Quantity of Narcotics.
Deon Roberts was cautioned, placed under Arrest, and escorted to the Bartica Police Station.
At the Bartica Police Station, the Narcotics were weighed, and amounted as follows:-
*** Suspected Cannabis: 427 Grams
*** Suspected Cannabis Gummies: 10 Grams
*** Suspected Ecstasy: 3 Grams
*** Suspected Amphetamine: 22 Grams
Police conducted a Video, and Audio-recorded Interview with Deon Roberts during which, the Suspect admitted ownership of the Narcotics found in his possession.
