Hon. Minister Mr.Vickram Bharrat for the Ministry of Natural Resources, on Saturday,May 31st,2025, facilitated a Meeting with Residents of the Municipality of Bartica,Essequibo River, Region Seven, primarily to listen to their Concerns, and to effect practical Solutions where possible.

The Ministry of Natural Resources, also at the Occasion donated a Number of Items to Small Miners of Region Seven. Items donated will assist the Miners in their field activities, and contribute to their improved livelihood, and comfort while in the Fields.

In, the Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources, donated Engines to the Small Miners of Region Seven. This donation aims to encourage the Miners to work effectively, and efficiently.

The Ministry of Natural Resources further reiterates on the importance of safe mining Practices.
